Let’s give credit where credit is due: the name of this site is obviously inspired by lifehacker.com, a compendium of often ingenious tips and tricks for getting things done (via computer and otherwise!). In a similar vein, veganhacker is intended to provide tips and tricks for navigating veganism in a horribly meat-skewed world. This means we aim to share how favorite non-vegan recipes are veganized; how tricky potluck and party situations are addressed; how parents raise vegan children; how vegans of all ages tackle questions and sometimes criticisms of their dietary choices; how and where to travel; and how and where to find vegan goodies of all kinds.

We seek to do this through highlighting the collective wisdom of wired vegans. If you’d like to contribute an idea or story, please email us at tips@veganhacker.com, and please also feel free to respectfully share your personal experiences and opinions in the comments. Inflammatory/derogatory comments will be deleted.
